Workshop design and gatherings

Crafting experiences that bring people together and help them innovate, make decisions, and start DOING.

You want to bring a group together and provoke a discussion, craft a strategy, or put plans into place.

Let me help you create interactive, participatory workshops that help you move in the right direction.

I’ll work with you to design, plan, prepare and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events that engage, provoke, and invite action. I work with global teams, creating interactive experiences and workshops that can be delivered online, drawing on a wide range of tried-and-tested faciltation tools and methodologies to make sure that your workshop is a success.

For example:

Strategic Planning Workshops

Knowing where you’ve been and where you’re going is essential if you want to move ahead, in the right direction, and with everyone working towards the same goals.

I work with clients to identify a clear strategic vision, strategic objectives and critical path with supporting actions and plans.

Together, we’ll define relevant stakeholders are involved from the start, and that we have the right people participating in the creation of the strategy, building buy-in and commitment to identified outcomes.

Programme/Project Planning Workshops

Do you have a critical or complex project in the pipeline? Do you need to get mutiple partners or teams working collaboratively to achieve project outcomes? My combined expertise as a facilitator and programme manager with experience running large-scale, diverse projects, EC programmes, and in-house projects might come in handy.

I design and facilitate workshops through the programme or project lifecycle to define scope, identify and/or prioritise requirements and build programme/project plans that include key milestones, activities and tasks, with activity owners, timescales and resources required.

How are you planning for risk? I can help you run a risk assessment workshops to identify key risks and create mitigation plans.

I can also provide facilitated bi-annual or annual events to review developments and, post-implementation, review outcomes.

Team Development Workshops

Are you forming a new team and want to get them off to the best start possible? Perhaps you want to help an established team improve the way they work together.

I design and facilitate workshops to help teams identify what’s working and what’s not so that they can become more aware of how they function of a team, what they each bring to the team, and to agree the best ways to work based on agreed goals. The outcomes depend on the team, but typically participants have a clear vision of ways of working and a structured plan for working together moving forward.

I use team development tools, techniques and processes to make sure that everyone is included, and that all voices are heard.

Business Planning Workshops

J.R.R. Tolkien once said, “It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near one.” You might not have any dragons nearby, but factoring internal and external factors into your business growth plans is always a good idea!

I will work with key stakeholders and use their input to design and facilitate a business planning workshop where participants can define customer segments, value propositions, customer relationships, channels, key supporting activities, partners and resources, revenue streams and cost structures, then develop a plan to take their ideas forward.
